BROOKE RAHNIS, Teacher
Brooke started dancing at the age of 3 at Shirley Darling Dancers. This will be her 15th year dancing. During her time at Shirley Darling Dancers she has studied many forms of dance including ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary and lyrical. She has been a part of the competition team for the past 4 years. She has accomplished many achievements while being on the competition team including competing in multiple regional, and national level competitions, as well as dancing in Disney World for the Christmas Spectacular Parade. She was voted, Miss Ballerina, Miss Motivation, Miss Leadership, Most Likely to Become a Dance Teacher, and Most Valuable Dancer by her teammates. She also assisted dance classes before becoming a teacher.
Brooke also studied dance at Seton Keough High School. During her time at SKHS she received a scholarship for dance. She also was a part of their company team where she danced in Disney World and Broadway Dance Center. She also received an end of the year award for dance.
Outside of dance, Brooke was a gymnast for 9 years. She competed for 4 years. Brooke won numerous top three awards in floor, bars, beam and all around. She also received many awards during the end of the year banquets.
Brooke would like to take this time to express how excited she is to embark on this new journey with the Legacy Dance Company!
